HERO XPULSE

Futuristic, versatile, performance these are definitely not the word that come to your mind when you hear the name Hero Moto Corp. or do you now? Welcome to Down Shift and this is the all new Hero Xpulse. so is what we’ve come to expect for a lower capacity adv bike. A purpose-built machine ready to decimate anything thrown in its path?

we’re talking about a ground clearance of 220mm. a suspension travel worth 190mm in front and 170mm in the rear. with the help of a 21incher front wheel and 18incher at the back. knuckle guards and a metal belly pan for the FI. off road pegs whose rubbers can just be popped out a hard push. a re-worked frame for better feedback. single channel abs so that you have fun while being safe. knobby from ceat tyres to help you find grip even when there is none. LED headlamps short visor upswept exhaust and fork gutters. Turn by turn navigation in the cluster which such child’s play to connect and use. all in all, the xpulse looks like a proposition which is more inviting than intimidating not just for an enthusiast but for anyone likes to ride. it’s time to set off and see what’s what but before we set off its time to thank the good folks at wheel hero who are authorized dealer for the sale of this motorcycle in Goa and the vehicles are available for test ride as well as ready for delivery. I’ll also leave a location link in the description box below. the rider’s triangle is made designed such that your just as comfortable while you’re standing when you’re sitting. the dynamics are definitely a surprise if someone tell you that you can’t spin the wheels and go sideways well looks like they haven’t tried hard enough. But the user-friendly seat height of the Xtreme is long gone and in making this machine as durable as possible the weight has also gone up 153kgs to be precise and the tank capacity is just 13litre. but its everything that we wanted the good old 150cc impulse to be grown into and a machine I personally would like to have in my garage because it’s not just a machine for someone who’s experienced but anyone would want to learn the technique to ride of riding in the not so smooth terrain and enjoy the freedom of getting lost in the wilderness making its road ability feel mediocre in comparison. Here out on the highway while the ride quality is very exceptional the lack in power can be noticed significantly and the engine feel harsh as you come closer to the redline but at the end as they say some beautiful paths cannot be discovered without getting lost and looks like Hero moto Corp have found their long lost path are moving in the right direction.
